Here's a Miss Victory pin-up poster while I procrastinate a bit more on completing today's Java Jaguar strip. I like how this illustration turned out, even though it was kind of an accident.
I was just experimenting with poses and perspective with our heroine, Miss Victory. I used the auto color feature in Clip Studio Paint to fill in the base color layer. Later I thought I would just add in an aerial-view of a city for background. The problem was that the autocolor feature fills the entire canvas with paint, so the background layer wouldn't have been visible. Except that I had gone back with a transparent airbrush tool to clean up a bunch of the area around her body, because the auto-color feature is a very sloppy tool. Because I had gone over that part by erasing, when I threw down the background layer it looks like she's flying through the clouds.
We'll call that a Bob Ross "happy accident."
