I was very conscious of the people around me while drawing this panel while sitting in Panera Bread. Fortunately I look half-Japanese to most people in the Continental U.S., so nobody probably will judge me for the tentacle-groping scene.
I thought I was supposed to work today as a sub on half-day Friday. But turns out the assignment is not until NEXT week Friday. So I have the day off. Figured I could draw and upload a new Real Superheroines panel.
Already have Kickman ready to upload on Sunday. Looks like I'm managing to keep up with my release schedule. All while taking care of a sick girlfriend even. She's also a teacher, and kids are filthy little germ machines.
I'll pick her up after school, then relocate to a new house in Napa California, where I'll be taking care of two dogs and a cat for the next month and a half. It's good to have stable, long-term sits. Especially in nice, fancy neighborhoods. They've even got a hot tub there. Sometimes it's good to be homeless.
Have a good weekend, Hivers!
