I performed a clean swan dive into a deep pool below to start my search. I carefully inspected the cavern, discovered a massive waterfall, and eventually located the hidden city. While looking for the serpent, I gathered gold ore and feathers, and suddenly heard someone crying out nearby.
I had to be carefully swing to the other side as the grapple points I was using to swing around started falling down. And I managed to swing to the other side like a pro. I bet even Spider-Man would be jealous seeing me swinging like this.
I arrived at the edge of the steep drop and prepared myself for the long way down. I carefully performed a clean swan dive straight into the deep pit that opened up below me. The descent felt incredibly fast, but I successfully landed in the water without hitting any rocks.
I felt quite relieved that the water was deep enough to keep me safe, and I noticed that no dangerous piranhas were swimming around me. However, I kept a very close eye on the large fish nearby because they still looked exactly like piranhas to me.
Fortunately, they turned out to be completely harmless as I swam past them. I immediately decided to check if there was any valuable loot hidden in the deep underground area. I searched every single corner underwater, but I quickly realized that there was absolutely nothing left for me to collect down there.
I swam back to the surface and decided to check what was hidden inside the rest of the dark cavern. I looked around carefully, but I found nothing of interest in that specific spot either.
As I advanced, I noticed that the natural beauty of the environment was absolutely beautiful. I suddenly stopped in my tracks to look at a waterfall cascading down the rocks. I knew that I needed to get much closer to that waterfall to enjoy its beauty.
I decided that I had done enough random exploring and that it was time to head back to my main mission. I moved forward while hoping that the dangerous creature we saw before was not around.
As I walked, I suddenly noticed a large number of old skeletons scattered across the ground.
Right after passing the bones, I finally reached the entrance of the hidden city. Lara reminded that we need to look specifically for the serpent with the silver eye.
However, all I could see were more human skeletons scattered around the stone floor. The entire area looked as if someone had made a terrible sacrifice at this exact place in the middle of the dense forest.
I continued to explore the ruins and managed to break through a weak cavern wall. To my surprise, I found some valuable gold ore hidden inside the cabin.
After collecting the gold, I kept moving and discovered a rare bird nest on a high ledge. I noticed that Lara only collected the soft feathers from the nest while leaving the eggs completely untouched.
I suddenly heard a strange sound echoing through the dead forest. It clearly sounded like someone was screaming or moaning in deep pain nearby. I decided to check around the area immediately to find the source of the noise. I discovered that a person was trapped there.
