The latest innovation in an amazing list of innovations is the ability to use MetaMask crytocurrency wallet to hold Hive.
MetaMask is an amazing browser extension, which is a cryptocurrency wallet. It was perfect for new financial development called Decentralized Finance.
This was were cryptocurrency and the blockchain intersected with finance and a new entity was born, which came to be known simply as DeFi. D
eFi fueled a historic, once in a thousand years growth of financial transactions which originally totalled millions, but in one year totaled billions.
This increase in financial transaction volume by a multiple of one million had never occurred before or since, It was called DeFi summer and many fortunes were made and some lost.
