Hello creative community,
Here is a drawing of a monk wearing a pointy hood walking. This is what I saw in my mind after seeing the reference drawing of 
Below is a copy of the said reference drawing. This is the starting point. Can you think of something to turn this into? Why not join this challenge and show us what you got.
It was quite quick for this monk to appear as soon as I flip the shape over. Let me show you some of the work in progress photos so you have an idea how I got here:
This is how the image looks like when I flipped it. Didn't hesitate just went for the Monk idea. The pointy top definitely helped me figure what I could make of it. The lower part gives me that walking or striding kind of vibe.
Once my idea is final I started creating the line drawing.
I used this shade of brown for the robe. My base colors are simple and flat
I added a shadow below the feet to keep the image interesting and further define movement
Lighter background didn't work for me so I chose this darker shade of gray and it helped the robe pop.
Practice helps us get better each time we try. That is the aim of
