Today in our city we experience load shedding for four times. Two times in the morning, once in the afternoon and one more time in the evening. A neighbour inform me that everyday electricity will be turn off for six hours everyday and she also said that our city life going to be worse. The whole country suffering the same as there are some shortage of power reason behind this everyday power cut. There is no specific time when it could be fixed.
Can you imagine your life without electricity? Specially when your work is online based. I don’t like my device uncharged and six hours everyday load shedding is indeed a bad news. But we have no option without compromising as we are common people. Many people in neighbour using generator or some alternative when Its load-shedding. But each and every family or institution can't afford to have generator for each time when its load-shedding.
Sounds old days of villages are back. In the past there were many villages in my country where there was no electricity. We played several games whenever visited such villages. At that time technology was not as fast as today, there was no smartphone available but there was a mobile phone available in cities but not in villages. In our childhood we played hide and seek when it was load-shedding. Those days are now just a memory. This load shedding reminding me the past.
Load-shedding mostly bother working people specially office working people. Many hospitals and other institutions use generator but they are still suffering from shortage of power supply. This suffering is not personal, its a public suffering and we all expect an effective solution of it soon. It feels bad when we are doing something important and suddenly the load-shedding occurs. Sometimes my phone run out of charge and without the active phone we become inactive in communication. If your work is based on communication, then you going to suffer for this regular power cut.
Childhood days are gone, now we don't enjoy load-shedding to play hide and seek or others games. Life completely dependent on electricity and we city people are living a life of machine or robot. In summer days we common people suffer from this kind of problem more as air condition and other electronic device need more power to run and there would be several Internal issues that we are not aware about. Whatever would be the reason, we want a perfect solution asap.
