When I think about how I work with clients and compare them to how I work on my own business the disparity is real. When I work with clients I give the very best of myself. All the best ideas, strategies, and time I have available. I happily sacrifice personal time in order to get the job done. I'm a mission focused and whatever it takes person. Which typically meant long hours, all-nighters, weekends working on client projects. Granted they are paying my me and my company for that work so it's up to me how me and my team get it done. And it does get done and done very well.
Now let me look at how I work on my own business and it's with what I call low-hanging fruit ideas done whenever there is leftover time. It's no wonder I've seen less success on my own projects than I have on client projects. But all of that is beginning to change.
