A little about me...

Good Morning Steemians,
I wanted to take the time to be totally conceited and talk about myself, but for your benefit of course...
My name is Tom and am happily married to @danaedwards. I am very laid back and have a lot of hobbies that I dont have time for.

This photo was from our honeymoon in Myrtle Beach a few years ago. We ended up doing a couples honeymoon and had a wonderful time. It was way more enjoyable that way.
We have been together for quite some time and really am looking forward for the next 50+ years. I know, being me, I probably don't show her that gratitude that she deserves. So I think showing a little love on social media should be extra "brownie points"
Most of our (I say our, because we do everything together) time is consumed with taking care of our spoiled-ass cat Wally. We adopted him a few years ago and he just made himself right at home...

He's looking much thinner these days though.
Aside from my daily required work schedule, I lead a pretty active life. The last few years I have been exercising more, a lot more....@danaedwards introduced me to @bjjworldtraveler and @jiujitsu and I have embraced the Jiu jitsu lifestyle!
We started taking private lessons with @bjjworldtraveler roughly 18 months ago. Having the highly addictive personality that I have, well you guessed it....I developed a small addiction to BJJ as well.
I decided to compete at the local fuji tournament this past October and had a ton of fun. It was a total learning experience and I will totally compete again. I competed in both gi and no go divisions, not fairing the best but again was a great learning experience. I was able to secure 1 victory by submission, so that was pretty cool



As well as Bjj, Im sure I'll post about my homebrew addiction....again thanks to @danaedwards for buying me my first 1 gallon homebrew kit.
That was christmas 2013...Now... oh boy... I have the ability to boil 10 gallons at a time. I have a cool little 2 keg mini fridge in the garage. I have started coming up with my own home recipes that usually turn out pretty good.
A quick run down on some of my other hobbies: Im a huge car guy!! I work in automotive industry, I have a 97 mustang and a 66 mustang. I like drag racing, talking cars, just cars, horsepower, VHT, race gas, burning rubber!!!!!! Shew getting the heart racing there for a second. I love the fine art of cooking, golf, bowling, wow ill do just about anything...
So in proof reading this over, I have found a lot of mistakes. Some I was able to correct, some I have not. Still not bad for my first attempt at my own personal blog. In addition to the mistakes, I've learned about myself that I'm kinda all over the place, will do pretty much anything for fun...
