Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well!
Having own garden in a backyard is great! Especially if the backyard have plants that bear fruits abundantly.
When I was at the province, I visited a friend and got a chance to join them harvesting some fruits.
We harvested calamansi fruits. Some are ripe already. It's not easy to harvest calamsi fruits because the trees are high and it has torns. But, we got abundant calamansi harvest. 😀
I got one big ripe calamansi. It looks like a kiat-kiat fruit or looks like an orange. 😁 I immediately open and it eat. Well, it is still sour. 😁😁 It's not sweet because it is calamansi not an orange. 😁
We also harvested the watery rose apple. It is called "tambis" in our locality. We only harvested few because only few are ripe and ready to harvest. This fruit is really watery and it lacks sweetness. But, I love eating this fruit.
I remember my childhood that everytime I eat watery rose apple, I dip it with salt to have it a taste. 😁 But, that time I eat the freshly harvested watery rose apple, I did not dip in a salt. It is delicious without salt. 😁
That was our abundant harvest. We didn't sell those fruits. We make calamansi juice for the calamansi we harvested. While the watery rose apple, we eat directly after we harvested. 😁😁
It is really great having own garden at the backyard with abundant of plants that gives foods to the homeowner. Also, it is fun harvesting the fruits. 🥰
Have a Blessed Friday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
