It’s been a while since I last went out to check on things and enjoy the sunshine after more than a month of rain. Our mulberry tree, though its leaves are being eaten by snails, is bearing a lot of fruit. They are not yet ripe for harvest, though.
Then I checked our sugar apple tree, which we locally call "atis"—it has a lot of fruit as well! In fact, we harvested some of them. It’s amazing that we got two huge sugar apples! My wife and I ate them up! We also harvested more sugar apples, but those were normal-sized. We even gave some to a friend who stopped by our house.
