Cheating had always seemed a smart thing to do. All the praises , accolades and recommendations makes a person all puffed up and feel a bit above the other. Success gotten on a no-stress effort, crowds a person's thought to believe the easy way is always the best way. when others bend low , engaging their time and energy to craft something from a writer's block and spend days in imagination, then writing and editing their work. I could easily just swift my way into copying and getting away with it.
I never realized how much danger it was to myself and my growth process. I had logged in on a site to view my progress as usual when I came across an article written by a friend on cheating. It would have been easier for me to just scroll pass the post and ignore to have seen it but something held me back. I was desperate to know what he had to say about cheaters, I let my guide loosed hoping to learn if it was worth making an impact in my life.
It stated on a simple note and I already felt it's still old stories but then I decided to scroll a bit further , that was where I had a touch of change. It said:
"You cheat because you don't believe in yourself, You feel you're incapable of becoming who you want to be on your own. You see others better than yourself and the only way to compete to be like them is to cheat"
That words stroke a meaning into me, and I was interested to read further.
"If you cheat to make a name, to maintain such reputation is to keep cheating and it automatically deprive you from tapping your untapped potential, You allow fear rule over your thoughts and suppress the inner you. If you ever want to grow believe in yourself and fail many times but don't remain on the floor, in those fall and rise rest true Victory".
