I have always wanted to know what my future looks like. The days of toiling, the sleepless nights, the inputs we put in, if at the end they'll be worth the sacrifices. What remains hidden from humans is their future, yes we know the past and we know the present but the future remains a mystery that we all desire to see unfold.

While growing up, our parents would always make statements like "You would become great and wouldn't see suffering" sometimes they give their blessings and we're filled with hope that the future would be promising. But as we go through life, we notice there's more to it and the future becomes more clouded with each passing day.

If I had a time machine, I would travel to my future to have a glimpse of what it looks like. I'll be interested to know If i succeeded in this race of life or not, and if I didn't, what possibly was the cause. I'm not sure if the future can be changed, or if circumstances can be avoided, but I'll be willing to try.

I'll know what works in the future so I can put in more energy and also know what didn't, if it was as a result of an inevitable circumstance, then I'll quit early and if the circumstances can be avoided, then I'll make means for it. Great philosophers will say our future is today, whatever we do today determines the future we expect to see. This makes it possible to change the future. If I had a time machine, visiting the future would be a constant routine.
