This is the lace masquerade inspired look. I saw a similar post on instagram and was very much inspired to to this. I'm trying my hands on creative makeup these days and it literally takes a lot of patience and time. The outcome is what keeps me going!

Products required for this look;

  1. primer
  2. foundation
  3. concealer
  4. eyeliner
  5. mascara/ false lashes
  6. lipstick
  7. contour
  8. highlighter
  9. setting spray
    10.eyeshadow

I have tried creating this glam look with as minimal products as possible .
Here is the step by step process of it:

I started off with a dewy primer because I wanted a glossy base for this look. Base is really your choice, you can either go for the matte one. I blended it using my hands. I apply it all over my face, not just in the center that's how I prefer. Primer mainly helps in covering up the pores.

Starting off right away with the base products. I'm using foundation first and then the concealer . I dotted the foundation all over my face and blended it using a makeup blender. If you don't have the best brushes for the base I would suggest makeup blenders (spone blender) because it blends the products better. I'm applying concealer on the center of my face, around my eyes, on the eyelids and blending it using the same blender. For concealer I use the tip of the blender.

I'm using a plum eyeshade on the eyelids and on the crease. blending it with a brush. This will be the base for eye look. Next I'm applying champagne shimmer shade on the inner corner of the eye and plum shimmer shade on the middle using a flat brush. I'm blending all the three shades together to make it look better. I'm also applying a classic wing eyeliner.

Now I'm starting with the masquerade. I have drawn a leaf kinda thing around my eye , basically the eye of the masquerade. Then I'm marking the main structure and extending it to a design. Always go inward to outward for any creative look, so that you don't smudge out the outer part while doing the inside one. Also start from the top to bottom , again for the same reason.

You can cover your eyebrows using a brow wax or a transparent soap. I forgot to do so. I have filled the top part here. I know the lace detaching from the masquerade kinda looks messy but please ignore that, I'm just a beginner. Tip:- draw them a lil far than what I have done.
)

Moving on to the filling part now. I'm mostly filling it with very tiny checkered designs. Filling the top ones first also because drawing on the brows is kinda difficult. Rest of the area I'm just randomly filling it up with designs. Trust me this part requires a lot of patience. Try to match both the sides as accurate as possible. I had to erase and redo a lot of time.

That's all for the masquerade designs, moving on to rest of the face. I'm slightly contouring just below the cheek bones. Also highlighting the cheek bones.

Finishing off the look with a bold lipstick and some setting spray.

This is the end result and I love it. It literally took me 3 hours to complete it because of the minor details but worth the efforts.

Gonna do more of these, Do let me know how do y'all like it?!
