During my childhood, one thing I enjoyed and valued to this day was tennis. I started learning tennis from a young age as you can see from the picture below. I still play sometimes to this day but not as much as when I was younger. I don't think I got into tennis seriously until I was 12+ years old. What sparked my passion into tennis back then was this anime called Prince of Tennis. That anime got me obsessed with tennis and made me want to get better at it. I also wish I could do the same moves they did in the anime. Sadly, that could never happen as most of the tennis moves they used weren't real except for a few like the twist serve which could be done in real life but I never learned how to do it as it's quite difficult.

I remember I would always ask my mom to send me to this club that she paid for that had a gym, swimming pool, tennis courts and a basketball court. I would always want to go there and play tennis. I sometimes went there from morning to night. During the summers, there was a summer team tennis camp where you play with other kids in your age group as a team and play against other clubs. It was a really fun and unforgettable experience from my childhood.

I also played in tennis tournaments which was nice. I had tennis trophies that my mom already threw away and I couldn't find any pictures of me with the trophies if not I would've added it in this post. I think my greatest accomplishment was when I joined the tennis academy at the club. The tennis academy was an academy for children that played well in tennis and aimed to be a competitive player. You had to tryout for this academy to be accepted.

In conclusion, tennis was one thing in my childhood that I enjoyed and valued. I actually represented my high school for four years but this was past age of fifteen so I didn't mention it before. It was nice reminiscing my childhood and trying to find the photos. Thank you for this prompt for the weekend-engagement post and looking forward to the prompt for next week.
