Well I'm off for a walk to downtown to the post office, I am waiting for my Ontario Triillium Benefit check to come in the mail, this will be the last one to come in the mail, after that I got it set up to go to my bank account. We get these checks because the energy bill and property taxes are crazy, we get them once a month.
I had a nice walk there it was sunny, fourteen celcius, which is like fifty seven point two fahrenheit. Really great weather for the middle of November.
I finally got there and it wasn't in the mail, ahh. Maybee it will be in tomorrow, that would be a rad day for it to come in because it is my day off work!
So I had to head back home and go face the wife with the bad news that the check wasn't in, I decided to change it up on my walk back home, I decided to walk down Christina St.
I walked by the house that had all the halloween decorations during the fall season. Today they were setting up Christmas decorations, I talked to the lady of the house for a bit, she seemed really nice, she told me that the squirrels in the niebourhood often take the christmas lightbulbs thinking that the light are nuts, hahaha.
She has made most of the decorations herself.
She had just set up Frosty the Snowman, man I haven't seen that movie in years, I might have to watch it this year
I think this guy is from the Nutcracker, I could be wrong though
She also had a rad christmas tree too
It will be really neat to see what this place looks like when it is all set up, and she told me the lights for it will be turned on right after this city does there Celebration Of Lights thing, I think thats on the 26th or something.
