It's official, Splinterlands has ambushed my planned post for today and credit where it is due they have done a great job with the release of the new Rebellion set that launched earlier today.
After spending a long time debating what to do with my single land plot and doing nothing, I decided instead to pick up some new cards for my deck and am looking forward to trying them out in the coming days and weeks ahead.
Here are the cards I picked up today. I hope that when I wake up tomorrow morning they are not all half the price I paid for them!
I think my best pick ups were the x2 GF Sultry Barmaids at $1 each!
They have the new Ambush ability which is incredibly fun allowing them to attack before the battle even starts!
Combined with the stun they are a force to be reckoned with and I feel like I got an absolute steal at that price!

It will be interesting to see how the dual splinters work combining the different elements.
I particularly like the look of the water and death combo with Zeddica and the colours on the card really pop!
Overall I am very impressed with this update and hope to win some more battles with my new Rebellion cards.
