Everything you do is in pursuit of joy.
Such a simple line, but such a huge truth hidden in plain sight.
We do stuff continuously
But we never think why we are doing them. Initially, we see that the activity brings forth joy from within us.
But every subsequent time we do the same activity, we're on autopilot mode.
Me & gaming
I realized this today that I've totally forgotten why exactly I game. It's as if I prioritize gaming over enjoying it.
Now, what used to be so much fun, has become something that I must be enslaved to. And who decided this? Me, but not me.
It was decided unconsciously.
The whole point of gaming is having fun and that's the one thing I'm not doing.
How crazy is that? Why in the world is this mind even continuing to do the activity of gaming then?
Goes to show you how dangerous living unconsciously is, how deceptive it is.
As if a Genjutsu had been cast on us.
Now what?
I'll watch a video about pleasure by J. Krishnamurthi. I remember it having something to do with my current situation.
