Are you an electronics experimenter developing your own circuits and boards?
As you know the available symbols, footprints and data sheets are a night mare to find resulting in you creating both yourself. One for the schematic the other for the PC board layout.
You will love this resource. Puts most of them in one place. more than 25 million or so the site says.
Just got the link from an electronics designer news letter.
I did a quick check and it looks exhaustive . It even has links to buy a given device. Likely how they pay for the site by collecting affiliate fees.
I will look into the computability with Linux base programs in the near future.
