Hope everyone is well.I am not so well past few days Today I have come to share a story about simplicity and complexity. So let's read the post.
Akash and Shafiq—two friends. Akash is a big fan of modern technology, while Shafiq prefers a simpler life. One day, they decided to go trekking in the mountains together. Akash prepared for several months. He bought the most expensive 'smart watch' from the market that could display GPS, heart rate, oxygen level—everything. He also took along a high-tech coffee maker that could be controlled via an app, and a large power bank. His bag was filled with modern features.
On the other hand, Shafiq brought an old-fashioned compass, a paper map, a simple torch, and a thermoflask filled with tea. After venturing deep into the mountains, the real 'complications' began. Akash's smart watch kept losing signal, and to save battery, he had to check the settings every hour. His coffee maker wasn’t working because it couldn’t get internet service there. He was busy figuring out the complex settings on his devices and didn’t find time to enjoy the beauty of the mountains.
When it suddenly started to rain, Akash became anxious, fearing his devices would get wet. But Shafiq remained calm. He figured out the way by looking at the map, switched on the plastic-wrapped torch, and started enjoying the rain while pouring hot tea from his flask.
Akash had all the modern and complex solutions, but those very solutions created new 'complications' for him. In spending time on technology, he forgot the real purpose of the journey. On the other hand, Shafiq's 'simplicity' kept him calm and effective even in complicated situations.
This is reality—when we try to make life too modern or perfect, we unintentionally bring in many complexities. In fact, being simple is the hardest and wisest thing to do in today's time.
