Here are some photos from the gallery taken two years ago, exactly ten days after it was finally possible to walk around shopping centers normally, sit down, and eat and drink without having to wear a mask on your face because, after almost two years, a law was passed that masks were no longer mandatory. I believe that for me and for the other residents of the country, those were among the happiest days of our lives.
When we sat down in the shopping center, which wasn't very crowded yet, many people still wore masks out of habit. We sat down nicely, got some food at a fast food place, coffee, and the kids got juices. We enjoyed ourselves like a real family.
That was the best shopping day of my life because those two years felt like an eternity and as if they would never end. The kids ordered twice, and they had every right to, and I didn't mind at all. Normally, I don't like them to indulge in fast food too much, but this time, it was a real pleasure to watch them eat, and I was overjoyed.
I hope that such a pandemic will never happen again during our lifetimes.
