They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but the pictures my son draws with a simple pencil are worth much more to me, they are worth infinite words.
He simply loves it, it relaxes him, and when he does it, he is in his own magical world.
It's enough for him to sometimes watch a movie or an animated film and immediately he gets an idea of what to draw next.
There's one picture where you can see a bridge and in the distance, a sunset behind an island.
This picture is special to me because he drew it in less than 15 minutes while we were talking on the phone.
I sent him the real photograph of the scene, somewhere in Thailand, and he drew it not in vivid colors but with a pencil.
However, in my eyes, it鈥檚 even more beautiful than if he had colored it because he made it for me, and that makes it something special.
They say everyone has a gift for something, and it seems my son has a gift for drawing. What is most important of all is that he does it with love and because he wants to, not because he has to.
