So today, on this somewhat gloomy but still beautiful day, because when you’re alive and relatively healthy, every day is beautiful, something unexpected happened.
Unfortunately, while my brother and I were moving the corner sofa in my living room, I stepped on a small rubber ball that my cat plays with, lost my footing, and felt something snap in my ankle.
I thought it might be a fracture because I couldn’t put any weight on my foot.
However, after a visit to the emergency room and an X-ray, the results showed that nothing was broken.
The surgeon said it’s most likely a sprained tendon or ligament.
Now it’s time for rest and cold compresses. In about a week, I’ll start gently moving my foot again, and if it doesn’t improve, I’ll have to see an orthopedist to decide what to do next.
But I hope that won’t be necessary! 😁😁
