These last few days I wanted to relax a little with a short game, it's been a long time since I played a puzzle and this one in particular besides being quite simple and fun, has a design that attracted me, so I had no hesitation in giving it a try, let's talk about Rob Riches, which by the way is available on both PC and Android.

1

I really like it when this type of game keeps it simple, in this one we don't even have a story, we will be thrown directly into a kind of cave in which we will advance, by the style of clothing of our character we can deduce that we are a kind of explorer / archaeologist. The mechanics will consist of collecting the different coins that appear in the scenarios in order to open the door to the next level.

2

These scenarios will be full of challenges and obstacles that we must overcome, tiles that we can only step on once because then they will fall, burning lava that will cut our way, arrows, flamethrowers and many more things. The good thing about this is that the mechanics are constantly changing, although our goal will always be to collect coins to pass the level, the way in which we do it will vary.

3

We will have several worlds to explore and each of them will have its own "theme", for example, the lava mentioned above belonged to the first world, which had a Mayan cave style theme. The second will have an icy environment that we will be able to appreciate, which will directly affect the obstacles in our path, such as the fact that all the tiles will be slippery. Curiously when I saw this scenario for the first time it reminded me of those icy caves that existed in the first Pokemon games, the mechanics were exactly the same, slide to a firm point and try not to fall, I think it's great.

4

Overall it's a pretty entertaining game, it had been a long time since I played something of this style and I missed it, although at first glance it does not seem so complicated and the first levels are fairly simple, it does have some pretty tough challenges, many times I got stuck in a level and had to give several laps to find the solution, but I like that, I think that should be the goal of games of this genre.

5

It is important to emphasize what I mentioned at the beginning, it is a fairly short game, it took me about 2-3 hours to complete it, so I think it is a title to pass the time and although I played the PC version, it is mostly made to play it on mobile devices, I think that is where you can get more out of it because of the type of game it is. Highly recommended if you like the puzzle genre and you like to suffer a little.
