(RP) If you've been following the story of the VILLAGE, you'll know that the children managed to pick a dozen four-leaf clovers yesterday, much to their delight and that of their parents, especially the mothers who were given these lucky charms.
The children told us that, among other extraordinary adventures during their quest, they had seen snails with pink shells in the clovers.
The cook at our inn, who has no ears in his pockets like the rest of his kind, was very interested.
He knows this variety of snail, which in his opinion is the best in terms of taste, and begs us to collect as many as possible so that he can prepare a dish in his own style.
He knows a very good recipe for preparing them, and entrusts us with wicker baskets for the snail hunt, so I don't think we have much choice.
Before embarking on this new adventure, I propose a new competition: we have to guess how many pink snails we're going to find.
I write down the predictions on a piece of paper and put it in my pocket.

(RP) Si vous suivez l'histoire du VILLAGE, vous savez que les enfants ont réussi à cueillir une dizaine de trèfles à quatre feuilles hier pour leur plus grande joie et celle de leurs parents, en particulier les mamans qui se sont vues offrir ces porte-bonheurs.
Les enfant nous ont raconté, entre autres aventures extraordinaires durant leur quête, avoir vu des escargots avec une coquille rose dans les trèfles.

Le cuisinier de notre auberge qui n'a pas les oreilles dans ses poches, comme tous ses semblables, s'est montré très intéressé.
Il connait cette variété d'escargots qui selon lui est la meilleure gustativement parlant, il nous demande avec un air suppliant de lui en collecter le plus possible afin qu'il puisse nous proposer un plat à sa façon.
Il connait une très bonne recette pour les préparer, et nous confie des paniers en osier pour la chasse au escargots, je crois que nous n'avons pas trop le choix.

Avant de se lancer dans cette nouvelle aventure, je propose un nouveau concours, il faut deviner combien d'escargots roses nous allons trouver.
