Hola comunidad!!

Hello community!! I come to share a "funny" anecdote if you will. A few days ago the celebrations for the Chinese New Year, the year of the wood snake, began! As I was also born in the year of the snake, I assume this year as a symbol of personal development, since the element of wood drives development. Of course, there are always interesting challenges in the year your signature animal falls.
The events were held in various parts of the city and surrounding areas. The idea arose to go to the Chinatown of Belgrano, I am not a big fan of going to the Chinatown on holidays because it is a world of people, you can't even walk... Everything gave rise to not going, but despite the adversity, the lack of assertive communication prevented us from doing anything else. We met under the station with some friends, we said goodbye to the largest group and went to venture into the human tide, we took 3 steps, we were stranded among the people and we left the commotion through a business that had entrances on two streets.
Fleeing the avalanche we walked one more block and found the Buddhist temple. We preferred to go in there, the place exuded a peaceful aura. As soon as we entered the premises we noticed that to enter the main room you had to take off your shoes, which we did willingly, who doesn't want to enter a place and take off their shoes? The relaxation music contrasted with the noise of the party that we had left behind and there was truly a sense of peace in the place, as taking photos was allowed, I took the opportunity to take some photographs.
We walked around the room, I was acting like an erudite explaining all those "oriental things" that I knew because having practiced so much orientalism in physical and academic format, you learn or you learn, there is no option, everything is very nice, simple.
We were already putting our shoes back on when I see that next to the censer there was a sign that said "alms for the monks." At the moment I look for my wallet to light an incense burner and leave the money to the monk, I realize that the happy wallet was no longer there. It was the only thing that was missing, I felt like the Buddha was stripped of all his goods, (mostly services) the difference was that the good Gautama did it out of pure vice, in my case it was divine designs that led me to such a situation.
After the confusion came relief, I realized that even if the theft had been avoided with a little more attention on my part, (because I also had situations and flashbacks that day that were warning me that something like this could happen) what I would have least regretted losing was precisely the wallet, I didn't have much money, I did have the documents that I still had to renew, the club cards that they never ask me for, the debit cards that aren't of much use and I already replaced them in their entirety.
The only things of value were purely symbolic. I really felt sorry for the thief, having gotten his hands dirty for so little, he couldn't even pay for Netflix 馃槄 (I know this because I received the payment market notification, in fact by the time he wanted to use it he had already blocked the card).
We went to the police station, made a complaint and left the place, we arrived just back at the arch by the time they were finishing the show so we ended up leaving permanently. There were so many people that I couldn't see even one of the scheduled shows. Since there was no stage, everything was at the height of the audience. I saw the red dragon from afar dancing over the people as a farewell.
New year, new life... I don't know if in the grand scheme of things this situation may seem fair or unfair to me, it's just what it has to be, a learning experience for both parties, I meditate on the part that touches me, it would be great if on the other side there was also an understanding that allows this fortuitous bond that intertwined our paths in this experience to be equally beneficial.
And as I told you at the beginning... in your Chinese year, things always come up 馃槅馃悕鉀╋笍鉁笍
