Para esta semana tenía pensado un retrato, pero siento que debía hacer algo diferente y dar lo mejor, pues esto es un concurso jeje.
El boceto lo realicé en papel antes de pasarlo a la versión digital, al ver el boceto me animé a completarlo para el concurso.
Dibujar Dragones no es mi fuerte, pero realmente quería intentar algo nuevo para esta semana, sin más que decir empecemos!
First steps
I made a sketch of the character with HB and 3B pencil, before transferring this same photo to the drawing program, I will use it as a bottom layer from where I will draw the lineart.
Hice un boceto del personaje con lápiz HB y 3B, antes de pasar esta misma foto al programa de dibujo, lo usaré como una capa inferior de donde sacaré el lineart
Here I had two options to follow the drawing with a thick lineart or to make a thin and subtle lineart, both ways I liked very much, but in the end I decided to use a thin lineart.
Aquí tenia dos opciones seguir el dibujo con un lineart grueso o hacer un lineart delgado y sutil, las dos formas me gustaban mucho, pero al final decidí usar un lineart delgado
Fortunately, the clip studio program allows you to add writing on the images, unlike the sai tool where you had to draw letter by letter.
Afortunadamente, el Programa clip studio permite agregar escritura en las imágenes, a diferencia del tool sai donde debía dibujar letra por letra.

Once all the base color is ready, we apply the shadows, I try to make medium shadows and then give details with stronger shadows, the process is repeated in all layers of color.

In the reference card the dragon exhales fire, in my drawing I wanted to represent it in the lower part, always bearing in mind that this would be a source of light at the moment of applying certain shadows and brightness.
En la carta de referencia el dragón exhala fuego, en mi dibujo quise representarlo en la parte inferior, siempre tendiendo en cuenta que este sería una fuente de luz al momento de aplicar ciertas sombras y brillos.
At this stage I had to look at the drawing several times and think where I could add or remove something.
Ya solo queda agregar los pequeños detalles, efectos y brillos, en esta etapa debía ver varias veces el dibujo y pensar donde podía agregar o quitar algo.
