When designing a caricature inspired by a real person, I always try to take the features that stand out the most according to my criteria. In the same way, it is a representation and not an exact copy what I want to do.
The first thing would be to build with a circle the basic shape of the head, leave a couple of photos aside to compare.
Al momento de diseñar una caricatura inspirada en una persona real, siempre trato de tomar los rasgos que más resalten según mi criterio. De igual forma es una representación y no una copia exacta lo que quiero hacer.
Lo primero sería construir con un círculo la forma básica de la cabeza, deje un par de fotos a un lado para ir comparando.
As a general rule I leave an "approximate" separation of one eye's distance between the two eyes is a guide, as I always vary until I feel it looks good.
Por norma general dejo una separación "aproximada" de un ojo de distancia entre los dos ojos es una guía, pues siempre vario hasta que sienta que se ve bien.
For the nose I used a style that I have already explained in other posts, it is not completely realistic, but it stays true to the comic style I want to achieve.

The lineart in this drawing will be very scarce and only in certain areas of the drawing.

For the color I used tones very similar to the references, trying not to make them too saturated.

I always apply small details that are not noticeable to the naked eye, especially on the eyes.
Siempre aplico pequeños detalles que no se notan a simple vista, especialmente en los ojos.
The shape of the lips is achieved with the shadows, in this case they have a soft pink color.

To start the eyebrows use very delicate strokes without adding too much detail or strength in color, followed by a stronger, firmer stroke.
Para iniciar las cejas use trazos muy delicados sin agregar mucho detalle o fuerza en el color, seguido de un trazo más fuerte y firme.
On the clothes and other parts do not use a lineart, but apply small details like this lineart.

To draw the hair I start with a dark base color, this would be the darkest shade of the hair.

Then I draw a few strands to give shape to the whole hair.

I block the layer so that the color is only applied where it is already determined and start applying a lighter shade, at this stage I can give detail to all the hair, most of the hair is a light shade so this part took me some time until I could finish.
Bloqueo la capa para que solo se aplique el color en donde ya está determinado y empiezo aplicando un tono más claro, en esta etapa puedo darle detalle a todo el cabello, la mayor marte del cabello es de un tono claro por lo que esta parte me llevo algo de tiempo hasta que pude terminar.
After a long time applying lighter tones, this was the result, now it only remains to correct details and draw a background with a good contrast.
Después de un buen rato aplicando tonos más claros, este fue el resultado, ahora solo queda corregir detalles y dibujar un fondo con un buen contraste
