In this article you will read about my trip to The USA from day to day. The trip will start in The Netherlands and end in The Netherlands. In between we experienced a lot of amazing things and it became a trip to never forget. Pictures included.
The trip starts together with my family at Schiphol Airport in The Netherlands. We will fly to New York City, The Big Apple, The city that never sleeps, what ever you want to call it. We stayed here for 5 days and it started rough but it was amazing. After NYC we would fly to Orlando we landed there and drove from Orlando to Miami. This drive was amazing we did it in a few days. We drove through the Florida keys and the Everglades.
Day 1
We started our well-prepared journey in The Netherlands at Schiphol-Airport, I was so excited. We drove to the Airport dropped off our lugage and went to the gate. At the gate we discovered that the plane was delayed because the tasks of the crew weren't finished yet. After we discovered that we also discovered that the plane was swapped. We didn't have our comfortclass seats anymore, which was dissapointing, but KLM made sure we still had comfort and gave us 6 seats instead of 4. We were very hapy with that. After a 7.5 hour flight we finally arrived in New York and went away with a Yellow Cab, one of those famous television ones. When we arrived at our hotel we heard that the hotel was full, we thought this was strange because we reserved. After a long time of arranging we arranged a hotel a few blocks away it was more luxurious, I didn't mind, we had an amazing view and were located near Times Square. In the evening we went into the city to discover it. I still want to get my stuff and get on a plane as quick as possible and move to New York. It was amazing only the first few hours.
Day 2
We all woke up early, this was because of the time difference. One thing I really wanted to visit was Times Square, so at quarter past seven we went to Times Square. It was nice and chill outside, even for ''the city that never sleeps'' there weren't a lot of people out on the Streets. Every kid wants to make a picture with his or hers favourite action figure, it is possible in New York, but only if you pay for it. (ofcourse) We discovered that we liked the "blocks pattern" in New York. We could never get lost out there because of this. But you didn't feel or it didn't come to mind that because of this you walk a lot, we walked 11km this day. In the evening we did a tour around NY. It was amazing, but I was very tired. But we did all kinds of cool things like visit the building oreo was first made. We also ate at little italy which was delicious. But it is late now(real time) 01:12 so i will go to sleep.
