Whenever I have a chance, I love to travel to Chao Phraya Riverside and stroll along the Chao Phraya River because the gentle flow of the water, the breeze, and the peaceful atmosphere help me to heal my mind and reduce the stress from the hectic life of the days.
For me, walking along the Chao Phraya River allows me to observe the way of life of the people living in homes along the Chao Phraya River banks, as well as to watch boats passing by.
I feel a sense of peace and happiness when I gaze at the large, beautiful, brilliantly golden Buddha statue in the distance.
Upon arriving at the end of the path, I found the pier for boats crossing over to Koh Kret. I stood there for quite a while before deciding not to make the trip across that day; instead, I simply took photos of the temple and the pagoda—which was undergoing repairs—on the Koh Kret side.
I told myself that if I have an opportunity again, I will take a boat over to explore Koh Kret further and discover things I missed during my previous visit.
