Bitcoin climbs over $8,000... STEEM sits stagnantly forgotten?
So we're all, I think, feeling the brunt of the stagnation of STEEM in recent weeks. Some people are blaming whale accounts, others are blaming bots... but, could it be BTC's fault? With all of the recent crypto news being so heavily dominated by them, isn't it likely that STEEM has just sort of been forgotten by a lot of people?
Combined with people powering down/selling to buy into BTC before the x2 fork that never came, and now may come still, but likely won't come by the same people, so no one can agree if it should come, so may still never come, but probably will come and won't get much traction... etc...
My advice, as an experimental investor, take $10 worth and play around with the 1-2 cent fluctuations. Have a little fun. Post away, as ideas for posts crop up, and take your wins in the form of posting/voting rewards... stockpile and hold. This is a minor storm really (at least it's not a plummeting price) and will likely surge again.
And, most of all... tell friends about SteemIt... the more people using it the more the price moves around. More real users, means more attention on it, which could easily lead to a price jump again. I know we've all evangelized before.... but hey, lets give it another surge of attention and see what comes of it. After all, worst that can happen is becoming "that guy" to your friends... best that could happen is becoming "that rich guy" to them.
