Samuel Blues is a Slovenian one-man band, singer-songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist from Golica. He is a DIY/lo-fi artist who writes, records, and performs almost everything himself—mostly using analog equipment on a 4-track tape recorder in his home studio.
He has been performing since 2012 and has released 15 self-published albums to date.
It is rooted in raw, rudimentary delta blues, which it blends with grunge, psychedelia, garage rock, surf, and occasionally punk or psychedelia.
He usually performs live by himself: guitar plus his foot on a homemade percussion box to keep the beat.
On his recordings, however, he adds bass, drums, and various other instruments to make it sound like a full band.
The song “Mene nben nau jebou" (No One Will Fuck Me) is from his tenth album, Triglavski Narodni Pank, released in 2021.
