Novalja is a tourist town on the island of Pag, Croatia, with a small harbor situated on the bay of the same name in the south-western part of the island.
I don't go to crowded places like this, but I went with a friend who was here for the first time to arrange all the necessary permits for a sailboat.
We parked at the entrance to the town and walked quickly through the narrow streets. It was a hot early afternoon and there was hardly anyone on the streets. At this time of the day, everyone is looking for shade and a cool corner.
Well, when we got to the port authority, it was closed. F*ck. They don't open until six in the afternoon. Then nothing. We'll be back later. And we went back to the campsite.
We returned after 6 pm and Novalja is now a very different place. The town is alive and tourists are everywhere.
While my friend went to sort out the paperwork for the sailing boat, I had a cold beer and went for a walk along the coast.
You can hire all these boats, speedboats, and little ships for sea trips.
At seven o'clock, a catamaran from Rijeka arrived in the harbour, full of passengers. They usually come to the electronic music party in Zrce and go home the next day.

Well, my friend got all the paperwork sorted out and we left. Finally, another nice sunset from Novalja :)
