From fog filled vales
To clear skied hills
The veil is lifted
On closeted eyes
In alpine climes
Glorious vistas reveal
Emergent joy springs
As souls replenish
Before descent
Into claustrophobic experience
A moment to breathe
And transcend time
I write this poem as a word picture of the essence of a day when I saw many bare their hearts in introspective moments relating what Steem has meant to them. I have relished the searching expressions of meaning and substance.
As Søren Kierkegaard said, “Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.”
As we reflect today we find understanding, before we face the stout breeze of our future and walk once more into the mystery beyond.
