Good Morning to the #hive
well after being given the day off yesterday my gang will be back at work to continue the removal of debris in our effort to restore a more natural beach front setting at the dive centre. Looking around me here at the complex where I live I do wonder why this order hasn't affected them here but as its on a natural rock cliff it could be different.
I am aware that many businesses have not even begun this task having a stubborn mindset and hoping the demolition order will not be seen through.
With many places starting before we did and considering we have no tourists and are not allowed to operate I prefer to get on with it and get it done without any disturbance. I hear thunder in the distance this morning and the forecast is sketchy. If it rains we will get nothing done today so lets hope it manages to avoid us here.
Yesterday was "john the Baptist" day here and even though there were supposed to be no gatherings or celebrations it was crazy busy considering we were supposed to be under General Quarantine restrictions. I fully expect a reprisal from the local govt. as they banned alcohol sales last time this happened so I will be making a big order of beer today to be sure I have my sunset juice. This morning it's the sunrise black juice. Also essential in my world.
Hmmm here comes the rain. Skies look moody. I'll not let it affect my mood though. Feeling good today and even if the rain hampers our efforts to get anything done I'll still not let it affect me as I can focus on some things at home I have had no time to do recently.
More coffee, the sound of the rain is deafening right now. I kinda like it and have decided let it rain. I could use an excuse to slob out at home. I have discovered some old video footage from diving on my old mac so would love to lift some of that and a couple of other little projects that would be nice to get into.
