Hail to the Hive!
I had some friends come to see me this week and 2 of them arrived in their own narrowboat and moored along the same stretch of canal as us. As I was showing them around the walking trails along each side of the canal we emerged in an area where we could view our boats from the other side of the canal.
As the canal is usually very flat and still the reflections can be quite clear and I have a fetish for black and white photography and think reflections and shadows lend themselves superbly to this medium.
After getting some nice shots of 'Badger' I then took some of my friends narrowboat 'Mary L' and sent them some copies. They were most pleased with the shots which made me smile 馃榿.
Seeing the reflections reminded me that I had not entrered the reflection hunters contest for a while ( how careless of me) so I am rectifying that right now!
