Hail to the Hive!

After suspending our plans for a day yesterday due to much liquid falling from the sky we finally got moving today as the weather was very nice indeed. We needed to get back to Chirk and be near the train station to meet up with @diveratt tomorrow as we plan to take him over the very high aqueduct at Pontcysyllte.

It was a real pleasure cruising today over aqueducts and under swing bridges, road bridges and railway bridges. Rge beautiful Welsh countryside surrounding us and offering up something lovely after each bridge and around each corner. This is exactly how I imagined cruising on the canals should be.

As I am too scared of heights to keep swapping cameras I only took video as I crossed the big aqueduct so alas I couldn't include it in todays #monomad.

But as you can see the views were splendid. Wales really doesn't disappoint when it comes to awesome landscapes.

I may get @diveratt to drive Badger the Narrowboat over the aqueduct in a few days so i can get some photos of it crossing over. Hard to do with trembling knees haha!
