So... Six years ago, I had an aneurysm at the base of my brain. I was told I might be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Fortunately, that was not the case. However, I was told I could never snowboard again for fear of damaging my stint and having another brain bleed. About six months ago, I had an MRI, and I was told everything was looking miraculously well. I was also told I could snowboard again, as long as I wore a helmet and took it easy. That was HUGE news to me!

Well... yesterday, I finally got out and snowboarded for the first time since the aneurysm. WooHoo!!!! So much fun!!! I felt alive on an indescribable level. And I hope to get back out again soon.

The person I got out snowboarding with??? Hive and peakd@peakd superstar - jarvie@jarvie! (Jarvie skied) Thanks for the call jarvie@jarvie and getting me out there to Palisades Tahoe. Safe travels on your journey back home.
