Dax Paragon ist der Star in dieser wöchentlichen share your battle challenge. Was kann er und wie macht er sich im Kampf? Das werden wir uns jetzt mal gemeinsam anschauen.
Persönlich spiele ich eher selten mit dem Dax Paragon. Nicht unbedingt weil er nicht gut ist, sondern eher weil ich das Element Leben generell selten spiele.
Dax Paragon is the star in this weekly share your battle challenge. What can he do and how does he do in battle? We'll take a look at that together now.
Personally, I rarely play with Dax Paragon. Not necessarily because it's not good, but rather because I rarely play the element of life in general.
1. Stats
Dax Paragon ist eine epische Chaos Legion Karte und gehört zu dem Element Leben. Auf Level 1 besitzt er 1 Magie Angriff, 2 Geschwindigkeit, 3 Leben und kostet 2 Mana.
Ich besitze den Dax Paragon auf Level 3. Auf diesem Level bekommt er ein zusätzliches Leben und die Fähigkeit "Amplify". Amplify erhöht den Schaden von "Magischer Reflect", " Return Fire" und "Thorns" an allen gegnerischen Monstern um 1.
Dax Paragon is an epic Chaos Legion card and belongs to the Life element. At level 1 it has 1 magic attack, 2 speed, 3 life and costs 2 mana.
I own the Dax Paragon at level 3, at which level it gets an extra life and the ability "Amplify". Amplify increases the damage of "Magic Reflect", "Return Fire" and "Thorns" to all enemy monsters by 1.
2. Ruleset
"Counterspell", "Equal Opportunity" and "Taking Sides" waren die drei aktiven Rulesets für diesen Kampf. "Counterspell" bedeutet, dass alle Monster die Magic Reflect Fähigkeit bekommen. "Equal Opportunity" bedeutet, dass alle Monster die Opportunity ability. "Taking Sides" bedeutet, dass neutrale Monster nicht in Kämpfen eingesetzt werden dürfen. Das Mana Cap liegt bei 50 und das Element Leben und Drachen dürfen für diesen Kampf gewählt werden.

"Counterspell", "Equal Opportunity" and "Taking Sides" were the three active rulesets for this battle. "Counterspell" means that all monsters get the Magic Reflect ability. "Equal Opportunity" means that all monsters get the Opportunity ability. "Taking Sides" means that neutral monsters may not be used in battles. The Mana Cap is 50 and the Element of Life and Dragons may be chosen for this battle.

3. My Team
Durch den Dax Paragon werde ich diesen Kampf mit dem Element Leben spielen. Hier wird der General Sloan mein Summoner werden. Er gibt dem gesamten Team +1 Fernkampf Angriff. Das restliche Team setzt sich aus folgenden Monstern zusammen:

Was ist meine Strategie, Hier sind meine Gedanken.
Das Ruleset erlaubt es mir nicht Magie zu benutzen, ansonsten würde ich jedesmal ein Magic Schaden zurückbekommen. Nicht optimal wenn man bedenkt, dass Dax Paragon Magie Angriff besitzt. Dass alle Monster die opportunity Fähigkeit bekommen, stört mich eher weniger. Genauso wie das Ruleset Taking Sides, wodurch alle neutralen Monster nicht benutzt werden dürfen. Wen soll ich also Aufstellen. Es wird eine Mischung aus Melee, Magic und Fernkampf werden.
Auf Position 1 wird Shieldbearer sein. Er ist ein hervorragender Tank der einiges einstecken kann. Auf der 2 folgt dann Choas Knight, ebenfalls Mele Angriff mit doppeltem Schaden an Gegner die 10 oder mehr Mana kosten. Auf der 3 wird der Star der Woche spielen, Dax Paragon. Er wird glaube ich keine so große Rolle spielen, da er jedesmal Schaden zurückbekommt, und durch das Ruleset Opportunity sofort ins Visier genommen wird.
Auf den letzten 3 Positionen werden Monster mit Fernkampf spielen, damit sie +1 im Angriff durch den Summoner bekommen. Auf der 4 wird Venari Crystalsmith spielen. Er wird das Monster auf der eins jede Runde etwas heilen. Gefolgt wird er vom Pelacor Arbalest mit seinem doppelten Angriff. Abschliessend habe ich mich für den Portal Spinner entschieden. Er besitzt 3 Fernkampf Angriff und hat zusätzlich Rüstung damit er länger am Leben bleibt.
Das Team steht, und ich hoffe, dass die Strategie aufgehen wird. Auf in den Kampf.
What is my strategy, here are my thoughts.
The ruleset doesn't allow me to use magic, otherwise I would get a Magic damage back every time. Not optimal considering that Dax has Paragon magic attack. The fact that all monsters get the opportunity ability bothers me rather less. Just like the ruleset Taking Sides, whereby all neutral monsters may not be used. So who should I set up. It will be a mixture of Melee, Magic and Ranged.
At position 1 will be Shieldbearer. He is an excellent tank who can take a lot of hits. Then on the 2 will follow Choas Knight, also Melee attack with double damage to enemies that cost 10 or more mana. On the 3 will play the star of the week, Dax Paragon. I don't think he will play that big of a role, as he gets damage back every time, and is immediately targeted by the ruleset Opportunity.
In the last 3 positions, monsters with Ranged will be playing so they get +1 in attack from the Summoner. On the 4, Venari Crystalsmith will play. He will heal the monster on the first position a little bit every turn. He will be followed by Pelacor Arbalest with his double attack. Finally, I decided to go with the Portal Spinner. He has 3 ranged attack and has additional armor to keep him alive longer.
The team is in place and I hope that the strategy will work. Let's go into battle.
5. The Battle
Der Kampf wurde in der Diamant 3 Liga bestritten. Der Gegner hat sich ebenfalls für das Element Leben und für General Sloan entschieden. Er hat ebenfalls 2 Monster mit Melee Angriff, 1 Monster mit Magic Angriff und 3 Monster mit Fernkampf gewählt. Auf den ersten Blick wird das ein sehr spannender Kampf werden.
The fight was contested in the Diamond 3 League. The opponent also chose the Element of Life and General Sloan. He also chose 2 monsters with Melee Attack, 1 monster with Magic Attack and 3 monsters with Ranged Attack. At first sight, this will be a very exciting battle.

7. Conclusion
Nach 4 Runden konnte ich den Kampf gewinnen. Ich konnte am Anfang des Kampfes relativ schnell seinen Pelacor Arbalest eliminieren, obwohl dieser wiederbelebt wurde. Dadurch hatte ich im Kampf einen klaren Vorteil, indem dem Gegner jetzt jede Runde 2 Angriffe fehlen. Der Rest war dann nur noch Formsache und nur noch eine Frage der Zeit, bis die restlichen gegnerischen Monster eliminiert werden.
Dax Paragon konnte, wie erwartet, nicht seine Fähigkeiten unter beweis stellen. Das Ruleset war nicht für ihn ausgelegt. Mit einem anderen Ruleset hätte er sicherlich mehr zur Geltung kommen könne.
Aber der Kampf wurde gewonnen und ich bin darüber sehr froh.
After 4 rounds I was able to win the fight. I was able to eliminate his Pelacor Arbalest relatively quickly at the beginning of the fight, although it was revived. This gave me a clear advantage in the fight, in that the opponent was now missing 2 attacks every round. The rest was then just a formality and only a matter of time before the remaining enemy monsters were eliminated.
Dax Paragon, as expected, could not prove his abilities. The ruleset was not designed for him. With a different ruleset, he could certainly have been more effective.
But the battle was won and I'm very happy about that.
