Where do you stand?
I found this online and it made me think...
If only we knew our true power then half of the crazy stuff around the world wouldn't be going down. Sometimes I feel we are brainwashed to want to be controlled. I feel we are conditioned to chase dreams of Knowledge, Power, Money, and Respect when we are already innately born with these qualities.
I truly believe that these things we chase are actually very miniscule compared to our true worth. These traits of Knowledge, Power, Money, and Respect are supposed to be a "given", something that we can count each other to give and receive. However, nowadays it seems like we have to make others earn it.
To me this is a vice, a vice like any other addiction. Well, if we have the need to be controlled, at least control the need. Know what it is you are voting for, who you are voting for and for what they stand for. Each politician has an angle, an agenda, or a platform that they lead with. Just know that we are the ones who allow the platform to exist.
Until the days of a computer-app-president or robo-government with algorithms of equality, then we need to be vigilant. At least know where we stand. Imagine a world where billions of people had billions of dollars. Where would we stand then?
