Lately, I keep hearing stories about people who don't like cats. And the reasons are always strange.
"Cats are traitors."
"They only love you when you feed them."
"You can't trust them."
But let's think about this for a second.
Betrayal is a very human concept. It requires intention, deception, and broken promises. Cats don't make promises. Cats don't pretend. Cats just are.
A cat shows you affection when it feels safe. It walks away when it wants space. It doesn't lie. It doesn't manipulate. It simply responds to how you treat it.
So... who is really the traitor here? 馃
Maybe some people don't like cats because cats don't need you to survive. A dog may worship you unconditionally. A cat chooses you. And that scares some people. Because if an animal can choose to love you, it can also choose to walk away. And that feels like a loss of control.
But that's not betrayal. That's autonomy.
Flow doesn't owe me anything. And I don't owe her anything except respect, food, and a warm lap when she wants it. That's our deal. No lies. No manipulation.

Pero pensemos un segundo.
La traici贸n es un concepto muy humano. Requiere intenci贸n, enga帽o y promesas rotas. Los gatos no hacen promesas. Los gatos no fingen. Los gatos simplemente son.
Un gato te muestra cari帽o cuando se siente seguro. Se aleja cuando quiere espacio. No miente. No manipula. Simplemente responde a c贸mo lo tratas.

Quiz谩s a algunas personas no les gustan los gatos porque los gatos no te necesitan para sobrevivir. Un perro puede adorarte incondicionalmente. Un gato te elige. Y eso asusta a algunas personas. Porque si un animal puede elegir quererte, tambi茅n puede elegir irse. Y eso se siente como una p茅rdida de control.
Pero eso no es traici贸n. Eso es autonom铆a.
