Hi friends

How was your week?

I still have all the motivation and desire to continue with the inktober.

Today I wanted to make this complete illustration with two characters.

Word: Knee

I thought of many strange things but finally I brought this idea, a witch who may not be very good flying on her broom, has fallen and injured her knee, a boy when he saw her decided to help her with his injury. Note that the witch has a couple more injuries, I think flying is not her thing.
The wound looks a bit serious but she worries about her broom

Now I show you the process that I carried out for this illustration

I started by expressing the idea with guidelines, this time I did everything a little cleaner than I usually do

Now a cleaner sketch with the expressions and details that I considered important

With black watercolor combined with blue I made shadows taking into account the point of light

A few more details and that's it

For this illustration I used a pen and ink

What is the inktober? It is a challenge that is done every year in the month of October with 31 random words to make 31 illustrations related to the word.

There are many lists that caught my attention, but I chose the list from the Winsor And Newton Colombia instagram profile
