Hello everyone! I'm back with another Inktober drawing.

The prompt for Inktober Day 10 is 'Mystical'

I chose to draw a witch brewing a potion in her kitchen. I really enjoyed drawing this because I love witchy themes. I am not a witch but I like the dark, edgy style and mystical appearance. Though I'm not a fan of such aesthetic for home because I prefer lighter colours, I just like the gothic art and the spooky vibes of Halloween.

I drew the witch's head first with a pointy witch hat. I initially didn't want to add a hat but then I changed my mind later. I was considering drawing a boho or herbal witch with an apothecary setting but I felt if I don't draw a dark witch now, then I'll probably never will.

I drew the rest of the witch and a large cauldron that she is working with. This witch is brewing some kind of potion. Aherm, not necessarily a healing one. I guess we will never know.

I drew many lines all over the cauldron and her pointy hat so they look black. I tried to ink then up as much as I could. I gave a shading to the cauldron so it looks rounder. To make it more creepy, I added a ladle that is made of a bone. This is the dark kind of witch so wanted to add these little details to emphasize that.

Then, I wanted to add some details in the background instead of leaving it empty. I drew some shelves filled with spooky things. I added many jars with ingredients used by such dark witches to make their potions. There are eyeballs, worms, large beetles and some bones. Her kitchen is basically a mini Knockturn Alley stocked up with all kinds of forbidden things.

After that, I drew some decorations as well. I included a Jack o lantern pumpkin and an animal skull as well. Finally I added a row of candles because witches always use them, not just to light up their space but to do spells. That's what I picked up from The Originals. Hint, it's one of my favourite shows! I also made the bubbles of the brew darker. Then I added many slanted lines on the shelves to make them stand out more and somewhat woody textured.

This is the final outcome. I added a few more finishing touches and it was done. That sums up today's inktober that was supposed to be yesterday. I am unable to pull off double shifts today to catch up on today's challenge as I stubbed my toe bad today and it's injured and bleeding. My mood just went off after that because this has never happened before. I'll probably just sleep it off tonight.

Thank you for dropping by and I hope that you have a great day ahead!
