Do you sometimes stay alone with your thoughts and heartbeats and think about things and things that are yet to come or what has happened? I do, and very often, and most often by my window.

That window, which gives me a glimpse into the outside world and beyond our home, is not just my window. It is in the living room, just above the armchair, into which I wallow and think. From my window you can see a beautiful ice rink that is full of people with happy and smiling faces, from my window you can see a beautiful white church.

Through that window, I welcome and wash away all the seasons. When spring arrives, in March the violets and visibaba bloom, followed by cherry blossoms in April. And that scent of ocular leaves and flowers spreads all over the street, through my window enters our house.

I also see when the fall arrives, the leaves seem to yellow first and fall off in the tree in front of my house. And the flakes, of all the windows in the house, linger the most on this window. It's a shame they haven't been there this winter, to watch them pile up over each other. I call it mine because most of all I look through it and out of all the windows in the house, I look through it the most.

During the day I see through the window, and I also hear passers-by who go about their duties.

One can hear their laughter, snorting, nervousness, hustle and bustle. And in the evenings, when it gets dark, there are those little ones swirling around who are swearing and swearing.

There are also days when the street is completely empty, then I just stare and watch the houses across the street. Some are older, some are newer, some have a facade collapsed, some just brick, then I count the windows and watch the lights come on and off. Or just looking and thinking about nothing, I wonder what those houses would say if they could speak, what kind of life is being led inside their walls, what kind of people they live in.

I also see a bench where babes sit and talk about anything and everything, probably just gossip. On days when the weather is bad, when it is raining or cold, nothing is visible through the windows, which are usually blurred, but only play shadows through the outlines.

That's the view from my window.
