Let me tell you a quick story, so it's morning, I've been up early go to the mainland, and its a few hours later and I'm returning home on the ferry, I need coffee and I'm really just not in my super happy zone, in fact I'd give myself a sociability rating of 3/10 at this time, oh I'm also wearing a bracelet that says "Gay As F**k".
Me this morning, do I look sociable?
So I'm minding my own business, just dissociating as I often do, when one of the passengers embarking...sat next to me..and began staring and huffing and shifting around in her seat.
Now any sane person would have thought that she maybe had an illness, or kept ants in her pants (hey I'm no kink shamer), but not me I knew what she was doing she was powering up, powering up her sting as she buzzed and buzzed more furiously, she opened her mouth and out it came.
"We love you, Jesus and I, we love sodomites, but you are going straight to hell. You and all the other sodomites together, burning in hell."
"But I can save you with my Jesus love."
I breathe in, whilst thinking, why did I wear my "gay as fk" bracelet today.
"Look I'm flattered by the attention, but I'm not really into anal fucking, now if your asking if you want to eat me like a sweet peach....then you might have a chance, but honestly your not my type, that pickup line is terrible, and who is this Jesus? Is he your husband? Cause I dont fuck men, so strike three"
she stares at me and starts making little squeaking noises and stammers "I...Jesus...but..."
"Jesus and I want you to fuck off and find another seat, so...Fuck Off in the Name of Jesus
She then quietly gets up, looks at me, making the sign of the cross and mutters "demons...demons everywhere" and walks away.
I sat back in my seat, with a sense of satisfaction, savouring my small win against the hate.
Why be so mean, why not use it as a educate this woman, try and change her mind?
- Umm shes wants me to burn in hell.
- I'm not google.
- Change? She wanted to judge me, tell me how wrong, how abnormal I was.
It felt good,
good that I had beaten back the hate,
so I smiled,
knowing I'd be crying later.
Hollow Victory FTW.
