Sometimes small things matter a lot for your happiness, you just need to discover
My daughter had a long pending request to get a kitchen set and finally I bought it for her, along with a barbie and after getting it, the way she got engaged with it, I loved to see the happiness in her face. Sometimes, small things such as this matters a lot and its important for us to engage ourselves with the kids and be a kid for some time.
This was the full pack, and she unpacked it and fitted as if she got a real kitchen.
She prepared some drinks and food for me out of her kitchen and I was very happy to pretend to eat/drink them, and it was a lovely fun time for couple of hours. These reminded me our childhood days, when we barely played with our parents. As far as I remember, I never played with them.
Usually we went outside and played with our friends and our parents were also not concerned about any thing because those days were different. There was hardly any safety concern and we always returned home in time.
But things have now changed a lot. So our kids are spending time in a closed environment most of the time and they are looking for more time from us. While we may have our own reasons to spend time in our work, its equally important to spend time with them. And if you just take yourself and land in their reason, you will love it.
