Aloe Vera juice recipe that makes it super tasty
Many of you requested to post about Aloe Vera juice and as I showed in my last garden journal, I got plenty of them from my own garden - it's all organic - I don't give any fertilizer. So I know for sure is that what I am drinking has only benefits. Today I am going to share how we prepare the juice - probably you won't see this anywhere else.
Aloe Vera as such does not have any taste. So in order to make it tasty, we use jaggery, honey, lemon. You can use only honey and lemon as well, but I have sweet teeth and that is why we add jaggery to make it sweet. Adding only honey would require a lot of honey and drinking every day would be a costly affair. I get the best honey (Rudraprayag Honey) from Fabindia store, but you can get it online as well : https://www.fabindia.com/rudraprayag-honey-10576057 . Take one or two stem and get the Aloe Vera gel by peeling the skin. As shown, you will get clear Aloe Vera gel pieces. Then take little jaggery (as per your taste) and put it in boiled water so that it melts perfectly. Once the jaggery is ready, take it in a glass and put the aloe vera cubes in that. Add honey and lemon and leave it for few minutes. Quite simple, isn't it ? But do you know, this simple juice gives you natural antioxidants and Vitamin A, C, E, Beta-carotene, Folic acid, Calcium, Magnesium etc. You can definitely find lot of health benefits of this simple juice on internet, but if you grow it on your own, you know the pleasure is different.
I like the juice this way, consuming those tasty Aloe Vera slabs with that sweet flavor. And all the three other ingredients (jaggery, honey, lemon) add more benefits. But my kids want it in juice form. So the lady crushes it in the blender and adds to the jaggery water. You don't need to add water to crush it. I have a big plant in my native and I am going there tomorrow. So I am planning to continue this for a month - do it yourself and find out what you get. You will definitely glow.
And do you know few other important usage of Aloe Vera ? I have never experienced headache in my life but the lady gets it frequently. So we have one tree in our balcony and she would get it and apply it in forehead and the headache will be gone in 5 minutes. Try it if you have headache and then thank me later. Also you can apply it raw on your skin.
This amazing nature has given us so much - I am sure most of the people on this universe would like juice of some flavor - Aloe Vera is such a gel that you can add any flavor to it and it will mix. Unfortunately, we buy juice from the market but never try this amazing gift from nature which is pretty simple to consume.
