Tweens ( the pre teen age) if the toughest times for parents for we don't know how to react. While parents with teenager kids know that it is the harmines that are doing the tricks on their growing kids, we tween parents don't know if it is really the hormones or just peer pressure.

My son is in his 10th year and of late has been paying too much attention on his looks. He was not always like this and would not mind even wearing a jeans that ended above his ankle. He has also become very demanding and is more into costly branded stuff. He becomes aggressive when reprimanded for his bad behaviour. I had started doubting my parenting when my mom told me that I and my brother had been through that phase when we were that old and it would soon pass.

An online study over the same topic gave me some peace. Various articles said that it is time to be friends with your tween child and this would solve the problem to some extent. I am working on this and I hope I and my son can be buddies soon.
