Age Gap between couple's is healthy. Back here in India, it is believed that, for a healthy relationship, woman should be younger to her man by some years at least. The grey haired people go by this rule because they believe that house chores and raising children makes a woman age faster than her man and it is important that a woman is younger to her man so that by the time the kids are raised, they both will be of almost same age like. I don't go by this theory and believe that a couple should not have much of a age Gap between them.

I and my husband have a age Gap of around 9 years between us and it feels like we are from two different generations. We both are never on the same page, be it in parenting or as simple as the choice of food. We argue till one of us gives up. Over the years we have adjusted ourselves to compromise, but the initial days were not smooth.
My husband brother is married to his wife who is 4 years younger to him and they function like a butter on a hot pan. Their relationship is so smooth that they can communicate without words or gestures. I sometimes envy them for their compatibility which I can never expect to have between us.
Well, I agree, not two persons are similar and not every relationship will be like that, but I have seen quite a few examples where the couple share a minimal age Gap and are on the same page for everything.
My husband loves me and I also do, but the generation gap between us makes us behave differently.
