I must have been in 4 th grade all of around 10 years when my pet cat had not come home for days. I loved him and he was my best friend. I don't have a picture of him as those were the days when we didn't have Android phones fixed with cameras. 'Goriya' as we had named him was a furry white and grey Indian cat that I had picked up from a roadside.

Though my parents hated pets who lived inside the house, he was fed with the best of food. Goriya grew up and was famed for being my cat. I was quite popular. Neighbors fed him fish and meat and he was this plump little cat that looked like one of a good breed.
So, getting back to the actual story. Goriya had not been home and I went looking for him. When I found him at the neighbors house walking over their boundary wall stalking a female cat, I couldn't control my emotions and caught hold of him. I was too young to understand why he was stalking. Goriya in reflex bit me on my thighs before gurrrrring at me. As j got home, I saw my brother laughing his ass off and my mother's face had by then turned burning red.
I got an hour long lecture about how stupid I was to get bitten by my own pet followed by a doctors appointment when I got a shot that pained very much like that cat bite. Goriya lost my love for few days, but then he was my baby and babies do bite their mommies. So I loved him again.
