Good day everyone, today I played my very first story mission, where I had to defend the temple. Since I'm still new to the game, it automatically set the difficulty to Easy Mode. That wasn't my choice, but I completely understand why the game starts beginners there. I'm sure the missions will become much more challenging as I continue progressing through the story.
My first opponent was a fighter named Jane. According to her title, she belongs to the Dynasty, and she was introduced as a Dynasty Girl. I'm not entirely sure what the Dynasty represents yet, but from the story it seems she was sent as a spy to infiltrate the temple. My mission was to stop her before she could complete whatever task she had been assigned.
After an exciting battle, I managed to defeat June. Although she fought well, I eventually overpowered her and successfully defended the temple. Once she was defeated, we discovered valuable information from her. The clues revealed that her commander, Deng Rao, was planning to launch an attack on Bamboo Forest, which serves as one of our important bases.
This immediately caught my attention because Bamboo Forest is also the place where I previously trained with Gizmo, my trainer. In my last post, I shared a screenshot showing what Bamboo Forest looks like, so I'm guessing my next mission will take place there. It feels like the story is beginning to connect, and I'm excited to see what challenges await me in that location.
As I mentioned before, I already suspected that this game would feature special abilities because I had watched several gameplay videos on YouTube before downloading it. My prediction turned out to be correct. Right after completing my training, I received a special helmet with a unique power. In this gameplay video, you'll see me showing off that new ability and getting familiar with how it works in battle.
Interestingly, Jane also possessed a similar special ability, making the fight much more exciting than I expected. That encounter made me realize that as I continue facing stronger enemies, they'll likely have even more powerful skills and equipment. This also suggests that I'll unlock stronger gear, armor, weapons, and abilities as I progress through the game, making future battles even more thrilling.
I'm really enjoying how the game introduces new mechanics little by little instead of overwhelming new players with everything at once. Every mission teaches me something new, and I can't wait to discover what other powers and equipment I'll unlock as the adventure continues.
